Best Actress Betting Odds 2023

While there has been some controversy around the lack of diversity in this category, the award went on with its list of nominees. The two main favourites to win according to most critics are:

Cate Blanchett

Blanchett is considered the frontrunner for the Academy Award, her role as a conductor in Tár being greatly praised. While she took the award for Best Actress in the Drama category at the Golden Globes, we are yet to see if she will manage to take home the combo. Blanchett won the Oscar for Best Actress in 2014 for her role in Blue Jasmine.

Michelle Yeoh

Michelle Yeoh was brilliant in Everything Everywhere all at Once and is a great contestant to win the award. She also won the Best Actress award at the Golden Globes, for the comedy category. Michelle Yeoh is the first actress of Southeast Asian descent to be nominated for an Oscar.
